Job Description and Specific Tasks:
•	The Laboratory Department operates 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, including weekends and holidays. 
•	Conduct patient in-processing prior to specimen collection, including review of paperwork accompanying patients and cordial guidance and assistance.
•	Perform clinical laboratory tests in all areas as described in following sections of the laboratory: hematology, chemistry, phlebotomy services, urinalysis, serology, microbiology and blood bank. 
•	Perform a wide variety of laboratory tests either manually or using automated instrumentation. 
•	Quality Control Procedures as required for all testing performed 
•	Perform phlebotomy-related administrative and clerical procedures of the Front Desk Section of the lab. 
Requirements 
•	Minimum of 1 full year of experience working as an MLT 
•	National Certification is required
•	Graduation from a medical laboratory technician training program.
